Emotionally Focused Therapy

Life coaching

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a structured approach to therapy that helps individuals, couples, and families understand and transform their emotional experiences and relationships. Rooted in attachment theory, EFT focuses on the role of emotions in shaping our interactions and sense of connection. It helps with conflict, distress, poor communication, addiction, depression, chronic illness, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), infidelity, and trauma.

EFT is based on the idea that emotions are linked to identity and needs, and that they influence cognition and motivate behavior. It combines attachment theory with experiential therapy techniques, such as person-centered and Gestalt therapies, and systemic therapy.

“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.” - Nido Qubein                                                                                                        Nido Qubein
