About me

Hi, I’m Gaby.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and I’m here to walk alongside you through life’s ups, downs, and all the messy in-betweens—with compassion, evidence-based care, and a big heart.

I was born and raised in Venezuela, then spent nine wonderful years in Portugal, where I completed my university studies. Fifteen years ago, I moved to Canada, and it’s now home. My life across three countries has shaped how I see the world—and how I connect with the people I work with. I deeply value diversity and bring a culturally sensitive, open-minded approach to therapy. I truly believe that my multicultural background helps me understand and support others with more empathy and curiosity.

I’ve been married for 17 years and am a proud mom to a curious, creative 12-year-old who constantly reminds me to stay grounded, flexible, and open to learning. I know how complex and beautiful family life can be—and how hard it can feel when things aren’t going the way we hoped. I bring that lived experience into my work every day.

For the past seven years, I’ve worked closely with children, youth, and families—helping kids grow emotionally, supporting parents through tough moments, and building connections rooted in trust. That experience has taught me to show up with patience, playfulness, and deep respect for each child’s and family’s unique story.

Whether you’re here for yourself, your child, or your family, I take a collaborative, personalized approach. You’ll never be just a “case” to me—I want to understand your world, your goals, and what healing or growth looks like for you.
